Where can I order my Thanksgiving?
Where can you get your Thanksgiving prepared? We’ve listed many options to reduce holiday stress!
Do you love the all-day cook fest, or would you rather kick up your feet, watch football in your jammies and let everything slowly warm up in you oven at your leisure? I am in the latter category. Especially the turkey! I follow the directions, and it usually tastes amazing, but I am hovering over it like a helicopter parent most of the day, and in the end, I am feeling like I don’t truly enjoy the holiday. I am making a mess, serving a meal, cleaning up, and it doesn’t have that day-off feel.
SO…I have recently sprinkled in a little holiday ordering here and there. Not every year, but as a treat, or when we have a small group for the holidays, it seems like I should take the opportunity to order my Thanksgiving.
Where can YOU order Thanksgiving from?
LOCAL
Whether you want a whole turkey meal for 16+, or a meal for two, Whole Foods has got you! If you think it’s too late, it’s not! You can order it pretty quickly, select your pickup time, location and boom, Thanksgiving is mostly done. It comes cold, so you will have to reheat, but that truly is an easy way to Thanksgiving!
This small business based in Louisville, CO, has provided my family with tasty meals for over a year. When I know it’s a busy week, I’ll order a few meals for four (even though we have five), and there are usually leftovers to enjoy the following day. Cultivate Kitchen is featuring holiday meals this year. Think of it as ELEVATED dining for Thanksgiving, featuring dishes like butternut mac and cheese and whiskey apple-cranberry sauce. They also offer vegetarian and vegan options. Ordering is still open now!
Order your Thanksgiving Box by Nov 23rd to pick up on Nov 26th!
This kit serves 5-6 and features Turkey, Gravy, Salad, Green Bean Casserole, Buttermilk Mashers, Dinner Rolls, Stuffing and Cranberry Sauce, the whole 9 yards. Reheat and serve! There is also the option to add on a pie for $20. Check and check!
Order before Nov 21st this year to get the BBQ Holiday dinner of your dreams! This menu is amazing…Whole Smoked Turkey or Burbon Glazed Spiral Cut Bone-in Ham with some of the sides being….Chicken & Cornbread dressing, Garlic Buttered Broccoli, Mashed Potatoes with Biscuit Gravy, BBQ Beans etc! The desserts sound fab as well, Chocolate Peanut Butter Cheesecake, Banana Pudding, Chocolate Brownies and more! Dining in a small group, pair or single, they have individual heat-and-serve plates as well!
With a partnership with HomeChef, this holiday meal can be provided at a minimum cost of $75, which is a total steal in this economic environment. Order through your local King Soopers or online, and take the guesswork out of it.
Similar setup to King Soopers above, select your store and meal, pick up and be ready to go! Heat and serve.
This smaller natural foods grocery also provides some pre-cooked meals. Find your closest location, select your meals, order and make life easy!
A staple of the South, Cracker Barrel is a very popular option. With only 24 hour notice, this could save your bacon if you can’t find a turkey! Or if you are celebrating on a FAUX-GIVING day, you can certainly still enjoy this meal with family and friends.
SHIPPED TO ME
While you do have to order this year by 9pm on 11/20, Williams Sonoma offers a full build-your-own Thanksgiving meal shipped to your door! Exciting. The turkey is pre-brined, meaning you still need to cook it yourself, but the sides are put together and ready to bake…so it’s a half-baked Thanksgiving, ha! Mostly done and delicious.
Featured as a Gift a Thanksgiving Meal, you can send this package to a loved one or a family experiencing hard times. Or gift it to yourself! Entire meals come with Turkey, sides, dessert etc.
If you cook your meal from scratch (which is truly a medal-worthy achievement) or bring in reinforcements, we hope you have a beautiful holiday filled with good weather, good competitive football and gratitude!
